From iconic dishes to off-menu delights, TASTE OF: LA will test your knowledge, tempt your tastebuds, and unveil the secret ingredients behind the city’s flavorful past, present, and future. This spring, LA Explained invites hungry, history-loving Angelenos to step aboard a rare, restored historic trolley for a one-of-a-kind guided tour through time, space, and taste.
Climb aboard each Sunday (May 11 – June 29) as we journey to some of the city’s most delicious destinations—exploring an illustrious blend of LA’s architecture, culture, and cuisine along the way. From famed façades to beloved bites, every stop is a window into the neighborhoods, legends, and local flavors that helped shape the city into a global cultural capital.
In addition to tastings at beloved eateries, guests will also visit select historic sites tied to LA’s iconic film, TV, and music legacy—the places and spaces that helped turn Hollywood into a worldwide symbol of entertainment.
